easy-to-spot clues of a twitter grifter:
- they have strong opinions backed by vague, hand-wavy instructions
- they regularly contradict themselves in arguments that they've inserted themselves into or created (NB: they might have a schtick, but they lack internal consistency)
The thing about grifters is they almost always tell on themselves if you listen closely.
harder-to-spot clues of a twitter grifter:
- what did they do before? can you spot clues/remains from previous grifts? does the path to the current grift tell a different story than the one they tell everyone else?
- what do the people they attract have in common?
