Thinking we can use as a way to share our work and knowledge. Help promote each other's work. And at the end of it all, to help each other be more confident in the work we're doing. โ™ฅ๏ธ

Weekly meals are cooked and prepped. Now to kick back and relax on this day off. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Can't share the entire piece yet, but feeling pretty happy about the layering and shadowing on these specific parts. Hoping to create more depth throughout the whole design. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Fitting a week's worth of work into the next two days. Challenge accepted. :seemsgood: :vegeta:

Video Games

My constant need of efficiency in my workflow? Attention to detail? All can be contributed to games that forced me to figure out how to best manage my time v experience.

There will always be bad that balances out the good. But I guess it just hurts to see people instantly hate without realizing how therapeutic gaming is for some and how freeing it can be.

Video Games

The recent news regarding video games and the vocal reaction to e-sports and gaming in general has really bummed me out.

I can't explain and stress enough how important video games were/are to me, and i'm sure many of you, in my development. A lot of my characteristics and quirks today are due to my time gaming.

My ability to work towards an end-goal rather than taking short-term victories? All due to RPG's that let you feel the grander victory after hours of work.

By default, weโ€™re set up so that new folks follow the mod/admin team to help start your circle on here and get a sense of the place.

Speaking for myself, I wonโ€™t be insulted in the slightest if you unfollow as you start to curate your feeds; either way, Iโ€™ll hope to see you around Local, which IMO is such a great asset of this platform.

Mistakenly focused around a career which could exclude so many amazing individuals out there. My apologies!

Please feel free to share anything that you're passionate about, something that you love to do, how did you discover it?

TL;DR As a child I fell down a well into cave filled with designers and programmers. I emerged days later, when my butler rescued me, filled with the knowledge of the creatures that surrounded me. I knew then what my sole purpose in life was.

Or something like that.

Thought it would be cool to share our or the moment you found out what you wanted to do as a career.

For me it was when I was in middle school. I had spent countless days messing around and theming my windows XP computer, piecing little things together with Photoshop. Only to be appalled by it within a few days. I learned a huge lesson in the art of restraint and simplicity. Been chasing that ever since. What about you, did you have a similar aha moment?

Hello world, hereโ€™s my :
Iโ€™m a city-obsessed professional transit nerd. About to move to after living in Yorktown and Point Breeze. Talk to me about community development, how to fund our schools, and/or tasty jawns in this city we love

Today is my birthday! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

Left the city to spend the weekend in Carversville, PA and Lambertville, NJ, where my wife's mother and father live, respectively. While I absolutely love the city, it really is nice to get away and be surrounded by trees and nature. Hearing nothing but crickets and the near by stream is so relaxing.

Question to all The Office fans out there. What's your favorite episode and why is it Scott's Tots? ๐Ÿ‘

I would love to see the numbers for how many people have joined Mastodon over the last week and how many new instances have been spun up.

It feels like jawns has joined something that's been just growing and been hidden away. It's been a really cool experience.

:koolaid: OH YEAH! Some brand new emojis for y'all, sadly a lot were gifs and jpgs, and Mastodon doesn't play nice with those. :oyster:

Can't believe it's taken this long to introduce my two cats. I'm usually dad on any network. Either way. Here is Blue and Finn ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿˆ
